I really don't have many craft projects to post, although I am planning on making some friends who just got a new place something special for the new space. It's really easy and nothing too grand though. I will show you when I'm done and they have received their gift! :)
This weekend was the Stanton Trade Days in Stanton, Texas.

We went with friends, Spencer and Nicole, and it was a great day of fun, shopping, food, and good (or not so good) ole West Texas WIND. Gee, it's been so ridiculously windy lately---more on that later. I wish I would have thought to take some pictures of the "I want this treasures", but generally my hands were full with a lemonade I was gulping down or something I was touching at a booth (just like a kid, I must touch everything I love :).
Besides food, I did purchase this lovely jar of buttons! Just ask my husband, he says, "give the girl a jar of anything and she's happy!" And my how true that is!

So back to the horrible wind! If you haven't heard, West Texas has been experiencing a terrible amount of large grass fires! Yesterday there was one south of town that burnt over 14,000 acres. One near Rule, TX, where Joseph has family, took out 75,000 acres. They are bad stuff. And it's soooo dry. Plus the wind does not help. At. All. So be praying for families who have lost their homes to the fires as well as those who are fighting them.

I don't have a whole lot more to add, but let me just say that I am so thankful for this new season in our lives. I definitely know that God wanted us here, and even more than that, He knew that
I needed the support of my family the past few weeks. When I completely doubted His plan for moving us to Midland, he reassured me and Joseph that this is where we need to be through the comfort and love of our family and friends. And through all our experiences here, I am growing closer and more in love with my hubby than ever before. Thankfully he is now working and soon I hope to find a full-time job myself. We know it is in God's hands and are just trying to remain faithful and patient as we wait for the desires of our hearts!
Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.
