#theMinefeetravellingcircus2k14 [day 3]

Whoop whoop! My girls are back! Even though sweet Liza has spots all over her, she is smiling again and Charley hasn't developed spots (two tiny ones on her mouth compared to Lizabears fifty or so) and both girls were fever free the whole day. So we made the most of it.

Uncle Jarred came over to make us breakfast and we had a good time exploring outside. Then we packed up for some beach time. Where we are in California you have to layer up since the breeze from the ocean is quite cool.

We met Jarred, Bree, Holland and Maggie at a special dog friendly beach. Charley loved playing with Mags!

I wanted to get a pic of both of the girls together enjoying the beach ...guess I waited too long. Ha. 

Our smiley baby is back!!!! She loved playing in the sand while Charley completely hated it. She hates being dirty, wouldn't pick up shells, and asked to be carried most of the time. Diiiiiiva. 

After the beach we headed back to SLO and ate lunch at a Mediterranean restaurant where we watched Holland lose to Argentina. It was fun but super hot inside and Charley desperately needed to nap. So we went back to the house and attempted to nap. Turns out Charley played possum the whole time while I slept. Oh well :)

We played outside and went for a walk then headed back to SLO for dinner. I was nervous about dinner out since Charley didn't nap but she just layed in the stroller. She hasn't eaten any solid foods since we got here since she has sites in her throat :( By the end of dinner we had some fussy kids. 

All in all, it was a super fun day! As much as I love to get out and see the sights, my favorite thing to do is hang around the house and play. The house has tons of outdoor toys that Charley loves. Basketball, ping pong table, a rope ladder game, and tons of cool spaces to walk to and hang out. Inside there is a pool table (where me and Char roll the balls). I feel like the kids are much easier to deal with at a house where they can run around and be free but I guess that's all kids, right? 

It would also be a ton of fun to hang out with Holland and squeeze her, but since we are contagious and infected, that's not gonna happen.
